Flame it and Grill it!

In recovery, I know to things, I am getting better when I can start to watch TV Food shows again and I am craving my favourite comfort food which is always a toasted sandwich of some kind and usually tomato soup of some kind.

So what happens when you put my three comfort foods together, a toasted sandwich, tomato soup and then wrap it all up in a doughnut and smooshe them all together? Well that is what a NYC restaurant calls their “The Flamin Hot Doughnut Grilled Cheese”. I am not sure it’s the best thing to ever eat, or that I actually can, but the idea sounds delicious to help me get my appetite back.

“The Flamin’ Hot Doughnut Grilled Cheese” was served for a limited time at New York’s Clinton Hall. It’s a habanero glazed bacon donut, sliced in half, filled with mozzarella, and hung over a bowl of tomato soup. See how they made it here..
