Bastille Day Bon Appétit

Before I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer Mum (Betty) and my next trip overseas had Paris on the itinerary. The closest I can take her now is Entrecôte South Yarra, boasting ‘service continu’ just like most corner Parisian cafés offering dining all day long.

As Mum is a steak fan I’m sure she would go for the  Steak Frites *their signature dish of grilled pasture fed Cape Grim 250g Angus Porterhouse, frites, sauce Maison au beurre et aux herbes, Soft leaves salad, radish, walnuts, Dijon vinaigrette. Still hungry then just ask or more frites? Merci!

Me, I’d be happy to have the Entrecôte Cheeseburger* w/ frites.

For dessert you would not get Mum past the Crème brûlée traditionnelle, her absolute favourite dessert!

Just to feel Parisian, we would even be content with just coffees and croissants from Le Derrière their Magic Takeaway Window.

One day soon I’m hoping to make it there but for the time being, Happy Bastille Day and Bon Appétit!
