Outdoor Chalkboard

I love watching the kids outside happily playing with their iPads nowhere in sight. Don’t get me wrong, I love the iPad, but outside play and craft is important too.

Better Homes and Gardens has featured some incredible cubbies and play equipment, all amazing but we cannot all afford these features. A dinosaur dig (or fairy garden) takes just a smaller part of the garden and has been incredibly successful with their buckets, spades and we purchased a few big dinosaurs from Kmart.

I am impressed with this chalkboard hanging on the fence or an outside wall. No tripping over those legs of  an easel and there is plenty of room for more than one child to draw. So maybe this is Dad and Pa’s next project. I just have to teach the kids to pack the chalk away in a sealed container it doesn’t get wet with rain.
