Explore the works of Peter Wille at the Peter Wille: Out Driving Exhibition, South Rotunda The Gateway State Library Melbourne.

Peter Wille documented buildings by groundbreaking architects including Robin Boyd, Peter McIntyre, Kevin Borland, and John and Phillis Murphy. He amassed a collection of more than 6000 colour photographs of Melbourne’s architectural wonders throughout the 1950s and 1960s. This amateur photographer and architectural draftsman took images that capture a period of experimental design, from the austerity measures of post-World War II to the height of modernism.

You have until 1st December, 2019 to view the collection. It’s a free event with no booking required.
