Melbourne’s State Library $88.1 million revamp opens

It’s been five long years and a $88.1 Million Revamp the State Library Victoria has finally reopened.

Explore 13 transformed spaces, 40% more public space and the ‘jewel in the crown’– The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall – a heritage events space has reopened to the public after 16 years.

New spaces include:

 

Spend an afternoon in the family-friendly areas where little ones can play, learn and create. Whether you’re visiting one of the exhibitions, doing some research or just catching up with friends, stop in at the Guild Cafe in the Russell Street Welcome Zone or Mr Tulk, on La Trobe Street.
