While it is heating up around Albert Park with the F1s why not enjoy a hot weekend at the two day Herb and Chilli Festival 2020 celebrating all things related to Herbs & Chillis. The Festival is held in Wandin, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March, from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Expect an abundance of sumptuous food and drinks, lively music and sensational entertainment to suit every age. Check out the Cooking Stage where chefs and cooks will share their expertise, tips, tricks and favourite recipes and talk with passionate producers and learn about their cuisine.

Test your tolerance in Hot Sauce Alley with many new sauces, relishes and rubs being released at the festival. Check out the difference between the Ferraris, Mazeratis and Rolls Royces of Hot Sauces. Try Flamin Good Chilli Sauces, salts, oils, and world’s hottest dimmies or Grumpy Gary’s Hot handcrafted sauces that are a bit milder, but still hot and tasty. Try mouth watering chilli, Cambodian BBQ, hand made ice-cream, the freshest local berries, exotic cakes and plenty more. To wash it down, there’ll be real ales, chilli beer, fine local wines, speciality wines, superb juices and, of course, fantastic coffee.

The popular Stinger Wing Challenge will no doubt see plenty of victims willing to set their mouths on fire (metaphorically speaking, of course!) for fame and glory. The real glory goes to their annual ‘Captain Chilli’ for the man, woman or other who can really take the heat!!!!

Keen to try growing your own chillies or herbs at home? They have 40+ varieties of chillies and a massive range of herbs for sale.

With free entry for kids under 14, the bigger-than-Ben-Hur Free KidZone is definitely going to get a workout! Well-behaved dogs welcome on leash.

Remember – “Every chilli is a good chilli and life is too short for bland food!”
